Description: Pongamia Pinnata, or Kaanuga, is a tree native to South Asia. Its leaves have anti-inflammatory, antimicrobial, and antifungal properties. Our Kaanuga leaves are carefully shade-dried to maintain their natural properties.

The leaves of the honge tree, also known as Pongamia pinnata, are part of a compound pinnate leaf that has 5–7 leaflets. The leaflets are arranged in 2–3 pairs, with a single terminal leaflet. They are 5–10 cm long and 4–6 cm wide, with a pointed tip. 

 Pongamia pinnata is a leguminous tree that is native to South and Southeast Asia, but is now grown all over the world. It has many other names, including Indian beech, pongam, karanja, kanuga, pongu, and naktamala. It is a perennial oleaginous legume with nitrogen-fixing capability and medicinal properties. 

 The crude drug Pongamia pinnata has been used to treat tumors, piles, skin diseases, and ulcers. The root is used to treat gonorrhea, clean gums, teeth, and ulcers, and is used in vaginal and skin diseases
